About Kandice van Beerschoten

Kandice van Beerschoten is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with a private practice in Raleigh, North Carolina. She specializes in providing therapy to members of the BDSM (“kink”) community and survivors of trauma. She obtained a PhD from the Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago, an MSW from the University of South Carolina, and a BSW from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. This is her first publication.
